Inspiration
and Resources

This clock was inspired by a watch I received as a gift, as a kid back in the 80's. I saw it in a watch display case and I just had to have it. I asked for it, and waited for almost a month, but eventually got it for my birthday. It was a SIXTY Le Jour watch. Apparently it was designed by artist David Pakter. At the time I knew there were different designs of changing colors. If you look for it, you will find all sorts of colorful styles. I never got over the beauty of this watch and how mesmerizing it was. If I could, I would collect them all. Unfortunately I loved mine so much I wore it for everything and eventually broke it.

I made this one just for the fun of seeing it again. To make it, I tweaked the code from this tutorial on Build a clock with Javascript. Enjoy looking at this kaleidoscope watch, as much as I did!
